YOUTH

Presenting Christ to young people, and seeing them mature in Christ

FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH

WHO: Year 7 (Yr 6 in term 4) – Year 12

WHEN: Friday nights 6:30 - 8:30pm

WHERE: Ironside State School Hall

Friday Night Youth is a community of high school aged young people where we enjoy connecting with God, real friendships and having fun together.

The community, along with experienced leaders, provides a safe place and a support for each other through life.

We’re all about knowing God through Jesus - shown to us in God’s Word, the Bible. We think through what it means to know and follow Jesus in the everyday. Each week we’ll hear what God has to say to us in his Word, pray, have some awesome fun, and eat supper together. Our goal is to see young people experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, and to connect with other teenagers.

TERM OUTLINE

This term we're looking at the book of Joshua.

God made some big promises to his people to give them a land of their own, and rest from their enemies, and to be with them as their God. We see God keeping his promises made long before… but also pointing to a greater fulfillment, of which we are part of!

God is a God who makes and keeps promises, and he has made us some BIG promises.
